Coffee pot
Stamped: Johnson Bros Made in England. Value: £20-50. The same pattern is also seen in yellow, and on plates, tureens, gravy boats, tea- and coffee pots, and other tableware.

Squares-and-circles patterns are common in the early sixties, as in fabrics by Verner Panton or Barbara Brown, Edward Veevers' Formula wallpaper, and Dimex tiles by Wade (for more information see Jackson, 1998b).

With a jolly 1950s scene of man (with typical 1950s red face) and flower seller outside a tobaconists. Mint condition. Value: £5

Set of three finger plates (1964)
These wonderful pieces are date-coded on the reverse to 1964 and stamped H & R JOHNSON LTD MADE IN ENGLAND. There are a couple of tiny flakes to two edges and round two holes where they have been hung. There is no other damage or crazing. Rare, but this is not a highly collected firm, so Value: £5-10 (set)
