Polar bear
Designed by Jarl. Early twentieth century. The belly has T182 scored,
93- stamped, and the Meissen crossed swords. These pieces are infrequent
and expensive. If anyone can work out the date from the backstamp, please
email me!
Condition is pristine, apart from a couple of crazing lines on the
belly. There is a speck of porcelain in the body cavity, from piercing
the air hole in the wet clay during manufacture, that can just be heard
rattling if the piece is shaken. Value
