Myott Gaylord (c. mid 50s - mid 60s?)

Bright red hollow-ware, the flatware with handpainted overglaze red, black, grey and orange-yellow wavy stripes. This range is scarce. Similar to, but better than, the gaiety pattern by Old Foley/James Kent.

Backstamped: Myott Gaylord M. 518. F. Perfect condition apart from a few spots of wear to the paint. Value: £25-30

 

Myott Miami (c. 1950s)

This attractive range has a black transfer showing a beach scene with palm tree and parasols (the latter with red, handpainted details). Scarce. Another variant has pale blue hand painted details, and pale blue jugs and saucers.

This one has attractive lilac hollow ware, rather like Midwinter whispering grass. It probably dates from the late 1950s or early 1960s. Value: £3-5
