Sadler 'zebra'-striped (c. mid 50s)

These pieces are rare, and almost impossible to find in pristine condition (I'm still looking). In the last two years I've seen perhaps 5 pieces, all damaged. The red paint is overglaze, and is very prone to flaking (yellow is sometimes seen instead). I suppose they are meant to be zebra-patterned, but the painter has really just dabbed the brush all over. In addition to teaware (including large and small teapots), look out for a egg cups; a lidded biscuit barrel with wicker handle, and a condiment pot (both bulbous, like the jug below).

Large jug
With three flakes of red missing from the handle, but no damage or crazing. Value: £15-30 (with this paint loss)

Teapot for one
With conspicuous patches of red-paint loss on the handle, but no other damage and no crazing. Value: £15-20 (with this paint loss)
Milk Jug
Mint, except for some paint loss under the handle. Value: £10
