Beautiful handmade bowl, with orange glaze. Earthenware. Mint, except for a tiny glaze flake under one of the handles.

Modular flower holders (1970s-80s)
Theme: Cor Unum (The Netherlands)

The pieces in the two photos top left are modular elements for flower arrangements. They were designed in 1974 by Zweitse Landsheer and remained in production until 1992. The rings are posy rings and were designed by Zweitse Landsheer in 1982. The pieces carry no backstamps, only tripod scars; a few have a paper label.

Two purple half-heads, one with a yellow interior plane, the other green. Commissioned from Snoeck to celebrate the anniversary (1946-2001) of the founding of Dutch engineering consultancy firm Witteveen & Bos. Limited edition of 500. Still available from the Schoonhoven website for around £100

Remarkable matt black triangular tripod bowl with white polka dots. Earthenware. Small chip to one foot. With script backstamp impressed JEMA HOLLAND.

Hanging plant holder with cord and sticker. Rather like Ravelli pieces, but of lower quality. Earthenware. The base is unmarked, but the number 160 is impressed to the top. Mint condition.

This is a nice set, and unusual with the pattern being printed at three different sizes. There is a number 86 in the backstamp, but I don't know if this refers to the date.

Aardewerkfabriek De Rijn (1918 - Second World War)
This craft pottery was established by Herman Zaalberg Sr. in Zoeterwoude near Leiderdorp, The Netherlands. See more information from his grandson's pottery; and backstamps. Later called Zaalberg Pottery.

Jan Snoeck (b. 1927)
Dutch sculptor and ceramics designer of The Hague school. Known for large sculptures in public spaces, often decorated with bright primary colours. He is also famous for the bulbous noses of some of his figures.

Jema (The Netherlands)
The JEMA Keramisch Atelier N.V. was founded under that name by Jelis Mager and his brother Johan Willem Mager in Maastricht in 1955, as a successor to a company they set up in 1942. The trading name was Beeldenatelier JEMA. It went bankrupt in 1984.

Modica Keramiek (The Netherlands)
The factory is said to have been in operation from 1969-1990, and to have produced pieces in imitation of the wares of other factories.
